Shakespeare poster

For Jon's birthday I made him this poster chronicling his Shakespeare roles and highlighting a few famous lines. I still have a few roles to fill in at the bottom and can add more in the future (as well as more lines).

I had a lot of fun creating the sister drawing to Ellen for a custom etsy order. All the client had to do was say the words mask and ruffles and I was on board :).

Junior Library Guild and Skater's Secret

It was so fun to receive a copy of the July 2009 jlg monthly (Junior Library Guild monthly) in the mail today. Skater's Secret, a Jake Maddox book, was chosen as the July Sports Elementary choice! I've scanned in the page that spotlights the book (a great story btw). So very fun. Thanks jlg!

(oh and here's fun article on how the Jake Maddox, Stone Arch sports series is doing in schools. Apparently the kids love them and are demanding librarians to get more! Storm Surfer seems to be the one of the most popular. Yeah!)
